Mary’s parents put their spare change in a jar in the kitchen just for the ice cream truck. She would climb up on the step stool and put her fist into the jar and count out the amount she’d need for 2 small cones.
The Bailey Building & Loan has been in existence for generations, ever since George stayed and took over the bank when his father passed away. It’s Pete’s daughter, George’s granddaughter, Meg that runs the Bailey Building & Loan now. It’s grown and so has George and Mary’s family.
Their house is the one that always looks the freshest, it just got an updated color of paint last season, looking cheerful and clean. Bob and Mary are the same way, always a smile and kind word for everyone they meet and especially for each other. Retired now, Bob was an elementary school principal and Mary taught piano lessons.
