This quilt block shows jagged green grass at the bottom in a light green fabric. Then there are two trees juxtaposed, neither similar to the other. One tree is tall with a big round top of green (and spiral stitching) while the other is short and small with a triangle of dark grey green. These are both against a blue background.

Mutt and Jeff came from the first successful daily comic strip which debuted in 1907 about 2 mismatched tinhorns. Mutt was characterized as a tall, meek and henpecked man. Jeff was a short, heavier asylum inmate.

This quilt block show a very large building, much like an airport hangar. We're looking at the building from the front. It's very tall with a brown front, and a darker brown angled roof. Beneath the sharp apex of the roof is a light sign that has written on it in bold, "CARGO." Beneath the cargo signage are two large double garage doors (or one big door with stitching down the middle) that has three big red stripes across it horizontally. All of this is set against a blue slamon-patterned background.

Then there are urgent or special shipments that require a charter to move them. That is what is needed if you order a car delivered to you by air or an elephant.

This quilt block shows a brown and orange cement truck against a light blue salmon-patterned background. The cab is brown with a light orange windshield. The fabrics are splotchy except for the mixer which is orange with brown speckled polka-dots. There is an orange band around the mixer with writing that says,

When we turned onto our County Road there was a cement truck coming and being his first left turn he turned a little too much. It looked like we were going to drive into the cement truck. He corrected and we missed but it sure made an impression on mom.
